Fitness background and ways to workout:
I grew up dancing competitively from the age of four through college. I danced on the University of Minnesota Dance Team for 4 years – winning 6 National Championships and 1 World Championship. In college, I took up running and it became a newfound passion – having now completed both half and full marathons. Born and raised in Colorado, I’m in my element when I’m outside – preferably in the mountains =)). Skiing and hiking are a must anytime I go home!! When I took my first [solidcore] class, I was instantly hooked!! The specificity and intensity are something so different from my other workouts – all complimenting one another in the perfect way.
One thing I’d like the [solidcore] community to know about me:
Aside from fitness, helping people is my passion. I am a quality engineer full-time – a true nerd at heart. I am motivated daily knowing that I am constantly impacting and changing the lives of our patients!! I also coach dance and teach dance at a studio – again, the satisfaction of helping young adults reach their goals and better themselves as both dancers and as individuals is something you can’t explain.
My goal is to coach a challenging workout that leaves you feeling like you gave it your all!! No one walks through these doors expecting it to be easy. There is nothing better as a coach than motivating your clients to push past their mental barriers to accomplish new fitness goals. Plus upbeat music is a must!!
